Road rage incident dramatically escalates with sword and rifle
An infuriated driver in the US has been caught on camera wielding a sword at another motorist who then pulls a rifle out of his boot.
Bizarre footage of the tense stand-off in Oregon shows the moment the road rage incident escalated with one man running toward the other before raising a sword behind his head.
The second motorist is seemingly unfazed by the threat, standing calmly with his arms by his side as the pair appear to launch into a heated argument.
He then goes to his car and begins searching the boot.
“Oh, what's he gonna get?”, the shocked onlooker behind the camera can be heard saying.
In an even bigger dramatic twist, the man retrieves what looks to be an assault rifle, at which point the witness stops filming.
It’s unclear what kicked off the battle or how it ended but the Portland Police Department told Fox News it had no record of any such incident on file.
"We currently don’t have the manpower to investigate every crime being reported, so it would be unreasonable for us to expend resources to investigate possible crimes in which there is no victim or suspect information, with neither willing to be a victim by reporting the crime," Lieutenant Nathan Sheppard explained.

‘Weapon of war’: road rage video goes viral
The disturbing contest was posted to Twitter and Reddit and has been viewed millions of times.
Social media users speculated it may have been an AK-15 style weapon.
“My man had an AR-15 in his trunk ? Goddamn that's a weapon of war, you don't wanna mess with somebody who has a goddamn AR-15 in the trunk would you”,one person commented.
Another questioned if the sword was even real: “It looked bent and kind of flimsy”.
“Who brings a sword to gun fight?,” questioned one man.
While another pondered: “If there was a civil war between Democrats and Republicans this is what it would like.”
