Road closed after motorcyclist seriously hurt

A road is due to be closed "for some time" after a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a collision with two cars.

It happened on Coppice Row in Theydon Bois, Essex, on Friday evening.

Detectives have appealed for any witnesses to the crash to get in touch.

"We thank the public for their patience while enquiries continue at the scene," a police spokesman said.
