Revealed: The shop where mystery $30m Oz Lotto winner bought ticket

As the search for the mystery winner of Tuesday night’s $30 million Oz Lotto draw continues, officials have revealed the location of the store where the lucky ticket was bought.

The entry was not registered to a Player’s Club card, so NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the winner to confirm the news and have to wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

But on Thursday morning, NSW Lotteries officials confirmed the unregistered division one winning entry was sold at Pacific Square News, Maroubra in Sydney’s south.

They are now urging all NSW residents or visitors who purchased an entry in Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw to check their ticket and make contact to claim their prize.

“If you discover you’re holding the division one winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process!”

Owner of Pacific Square News, David Zou, said he was thrilled to discover his outlet sold the winning entry.

“I don’t know who will be more excited – me or my customers!” he exclaimed.

“They are always asking me when I sold my last winning entry, and I tell them it was a few years ago when we sold a $3.5 million Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot winning entry.”

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto’s $30 million draw 1282 on Tuesday 11 September 2018 were 6, 4, 36, 23, 2, 30 and 32. The supplementary numbers were 11 and 27.
