Report: Raptors guard Terence Davis arrested, charged with assault after allegedly hitting woman
Toronto Raptors guard Terence Davis was arrested Tuesday night and charged with third-degree assault and criminal mischief after allegedly hitting a woman, according to Rick Westhead of The Sports Network.
New York police department detective Denise Moroney confirmed the arrest to Westhead. The NYPD does not make mug shots or arrest records public.

According to the NYPD statement, the woman — who is identified as Davis’ girlfriend by the NYPD — went to visit Davis. The two got into a verbal altercation and Davis allegedly hit the woman in the face. Davis then allegedly grabbed and broke the woman’s phone, according to police

The Raptors are reportedly aware of Davis’ arrest, and are currently seeking more information on the situation.

Davis, 23, averaged 7.5 points and 3.3 assists with the Raptors as a rookie. He was named to the 2019-20 All-Rookie team.
