Recall warning for popular protein powder sold at Woolworths
A protein powder has been recalled over an undeclared allergen.
Metro Food Co Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of its Keep it Cleaner Plant Based Protein Powder in the chocolate flavour at 375g, according to Food Standards Australia New Zealand.
It’s due to undeclared dairy in the powder and has been sold at Woolworths nationwide.
“Consumers who have a dairy allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,” Food Standards said.
“Customers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.”
The best before date is July 3, 2022.
