Ravens make very cool tribute to 'The Wire' actor Michael K. Williams in home opener (video)

The Baltimore Ravens used the pregame of their home opener to pay tribute to a Baltimore icon.

Actor Michael K. Williams, best known for his role as Omar Little on "The Wire," died earlier this month at the age of 54. Before the Ravens took the field at M&T Bank Stadium against the Kansas City Chiefs, the team played audio from Omar's iconic whistling, which is as perfect an entrance as you can get for a team:

It's hard to imagine Ravens fans would be against this being a perfect fixture on gamedays. David Simon, writer and creator of "The Wire," also took notice.
