A man died when the car he was driving crashed into a house.

Emergency services were called to Campbell Road, Stoke-on-Trent, after a Range Rover Evoque ended up on its roof in the crash at about midday on Monday.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, Staffordshire Police said.

Nobody else was in the car and no-one inside the house was hurt, the force added.
