Queensland worker dies after being trapped in conveyer belt at work

A 38-year-old man has died after becoming trapped in a conveyor belt at a workplace in Queensland.

Emergency services were called to the premises around midday at Potassium Street in Narangba, north of Brisbane.

The man was in a critical condition following the accident but could not be saved.

Police and officers from Workplace Health and Safety are investigating and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
