Queensland man dies after crashing into kangaroo
A man has died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a kangaroo in regional Queensland on Thursday night.
Just after 7:30pm, the 48-year-old man was riding an off-road motorcycle north along Middle Road at Womalilla, before colliding with the animal, police said.

"The collision threw the man from the vehicle, where he sustained critical injuries," Queensland police said in a statement.
Emergency services treated the Womalilla man at the scene, 600km west of Brisbane, but he was declared deceased.
The kangaroo was also located deceased.
Investigations are ongoing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
