A man charged with attempted murder over a house fire that injured four people has had his case mentioned in a Queensland court.
Troy Barry Fien, 39, did not appear when his case was mentioned in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
He is charged with four counts of attempted murder, as well as arson and enter dwelling with intent over the fire in a Coorparoo home on Thursday.
Emergency services attended the Kitchener Street property, finding it well alight.
Two children and two adults in their 40s escaped the blaze with non-life threatening injuries.
Fien was remanded in custody with his case expected to be mentioned again on October 26.
