A garbage truck driver has died after his vehicle ploughed into a Brisbane camping shop.
The truck crashed into Tentworld on Lutwyche Road at Windsor just before 10am Wednesday, causing significant damage. The driver, in his 40s, died at the scene.
Six fire vehicles with 17 firefighters are working to stabilise the building and retrieve the man's body.
"We have concerns of a structural collapse," Queensland Fire and Emergency Service Inspector Richard Gorey told reporters.
Insp Gorey said the vehicle was wedged between the levels of the two-storey building.

There were five people inside the building at the time of the crash, including two male workers who were taken to Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital with minor injuries.
Insp Gorey said it was lucky more people weren't injured.
"We were very fortunate today there was nobody in that section of the shop," he said.
