Police taser Sunshine Coast man - but what happens next shocks even them
Seven News has obtained exclusive footage showing a man being tasered and pepper-sprayed by police after allegedly punching his elderly neighbour and abusing police officers.
The dramatic daylight arrest happened in front of families and holidaymakers at Coolum on the Sunshine Coast.
In the video, stunned tourists scatter as Craig William Hinde starts talking tough to police, refusing to lie down on the ground.
He had allegedly just abused a police officer and continues to taunt the police to taser him, and as the tension rises, so does the volume and the swearing.
He even signals a spot to shoot - but his next question won't go unanswered.
"You want to do it? Motherf*****!", he shouts at police.
But the taser takedown was only temporary.

Hinde staggers to the ground, but only briefly before he gets up and starts moving towards the officer who has tasered him.
"He was not going to be subdued," one witness said. "It was like an angered bear."
The officer calls for his partner while backing away.
She runs towards Hinde, pepper sprays him and finally he falls, this time for good.
He has been refused bail, the Magistrate calling him "an out of control danger to the public".
