A bushwalker who spent three days lost in the Queensland rainforest has managed to save himself by following a creek.
The man was found walking along the Kennedy Highway at Kuranda, north of Cairns, about 10pm on Tuesday. He'd been missing since Sunday when he became separated from a bushwalking companion and did not have food or water with him.
Police say the man followed a creek, which led him to the highway where he was found. He was taken to hospital for checks but had only minor injuries.
