WATCH: Driver savagely beaten in bizarre road rage attack

A Brisbane driver has been attacked in a violent road rage incident during yesterday's peak hour at Archerfield.

Seven News has obtained exclusive vision from a terrified witness who filmed the man punching his victim through the window up to 20 times.

While drivers headed home from work on a sunny Friday afternoon, things on Beaty Road turned ugly.

A man in a black shirt can be seen getting out of his green Honda Civic before he started punching the driver of a ute.

The attack continued for some time, with more than a dozen punches thrown as the ute driver desperately attempts to defend himself.

Then, strangely, the passenger in the Civic jumps into the driver's seat and begins doing a burn out as the attack continues.

The man who filmed this video didn't want to be identified, and drove away before the fight ended.

He told 7 News that many other horrified drivers could not believed what was unfolding in front of them.

The incident was reported to police minutes after it happened, but police are yet to make any arrests.
