In her teenage years Liz was a competitive surfer who traveled the world for iconic Australian surfing company Billabong.
Following the completion of school, Liz moved to the Gold Coast in 2000 to continue her surfing, while studying Journalism at Griffith University.
With a keen interest in weather and a great love of the outdoors, she also completed a course in Meteorology with the Bureau of Meteorology.
After a whirlwind year in 2005 which saw Liz beat 12 other contestants to win popular Channel 7 reality show “The Mole”, the self-confessed water baby has become a favourite on the Seven Network.
These days she can be seen weekly as the presenter for the live Lotto draws, and after five years with The Great South East, 2015 saw her move on to travel show Queensland Weekender. She is also a presenter on popular outdoors show Creek to Coast and makes regular appearances on the weather and Beach & Surf report for 7 News.
Liz makes regular appearances on Breakfast shows for Gold Coast radio stations and currently presents weather for 7 News Gold Coast, Sunday and Monday evenings.
