One dead, two injured following Queensland marine incident
A man has died and two other men have been injured following a boating accident near Bowen, in Queensland.
Police say that initial information suggests emergency crews were advised at 10.30am that a boat with three people on board had capsized.
Volunteer Marine Rescue, private boats and other emergency services were involved in the search and rescue operation about 1.5 kilometres off shore from Bowen Harbour.

A critical care paramedic was also winched down from the RACQ CQ Rescue helicopter to a rescue boat to perform CPR.
It's believed the two injured men have been transported to the Bowen Hospital in a stable condition.

Police say the boat involved is being towed back to Bowen Harbour.
