Police helicopter 'targeted' with laser
A man has been charged with endangering a police helicopter by shining a laser at it during a night patrol south of Brisbane.
Police say the chopper was conducting patrols over Beenleigh at 8.40pm (AEST) on Sunday night when it was targeted.
"The crew noticed a laser light being shone at them from a shed in Skyline Circuit, Bahr's Scrub," police said.
The crew reported the incident and a police car was dispatched.

A 28-year-old man has been charged under the civil aviation act with threatening the safety of an aircraft. He's also been charged with possessing a restricted item.
He will face the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
