Police don't think Pullenvale house is a threat to G20

At the Queensland Police Expo the most popular stand, belonged to the bomb squad.

"We do have what they call splash suits for chemicals," said a bomb squad technician.

They had to wear them last week at Pullenvale.

Officers there detonated 20 pieces of the world's most volatile explosive.

The Commissioner says, the case is concerning.

"At the moment all of our investigations into this particular matter have not found any direct link to g20 or at this stage terrorism," said Police Commissioner Ian Stewart.

He doesn't believe there are more bombs, "We don't think so at this stage."

Today thousands saw Queensland's front line of defence.

There were horses and courses.

17 year old Brittany McVey wants to be a police officer.

"I just really want to do it for challenge it is something new each day," she said.

There was also riot gear on display.

"Kind of want to get into that, look really tough in that armour." said one attendant.

This could signal a change in culture. In its 150 years, the QPS has only hosted one other expo and that was 2 decades ago.

The expo continues tomorrow.
