Grave fears for prison gangster's missing girlfriend
The girlfriend of a notorious prison gangster has been reported missing, with authorities holding serious concerns for her safety.
Tia Maria Jayne Landers was last seen more than two weeks ago at a Nudgee petrol station, News Corp reports..
A month before she was last seen, Ms Landers failed to appear in court for a violent home robbery. The 28-year-old is boyfriend Wade Bartz's co-accused.
Mr Bartz is a member of the jailhouse Angry Gang, where he gained infamy for jailbreaks using boltcutters, as well as affairs with a prison psychiatrist and a guard.
While Ms Landers's disappearance is not believed to be related to Mr Bartz, the mother-of-four has schizophrenia and takes antipsychotic medication.
In a Facebook post by her sister, Jamie-Lee Lankin pleaded for her to return.
"Regardless of what has happened in the past ... you are our sister, daughter, mother and friend!
"You may think it's best to stay away but your family needs you back."
