A young woman who tragically lost her life in a car accident had left an inspirational final message the day before her death.
Fiona Carvolth was on her way to buy Christmas presents when she was killed in a car crash, News Limited reported.
A 44-year-old man and his passenger who were in the other car were taken to hospital from the scene at D'Aguilar Highway in Woodford.
On her Facebook page, Carvolth wrote about her 2013 and her hopes for the future.
"This year has been a big one for me. Lost some of my closet friends, but gain some new ones," she wrote on her Facebook page.
"Went overseas with one of my besties, get to watch the other bestie graduate uni next week. Got a promotion, work with some amazing people, started Uni, experienced life doesn't go as you plan. Learnt sometimes its better not to take the risk. But as long as you make the best of what life throws at you, your doing OK!"
She had only just returned from a trip to Japan a couple of days earlier, and was going to give her family gifts.
"She was going to give them gifts she got from Japan - she loved her family,'' close friend Jayne Buswell told News Limited.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
