Qld teen charged, two wanted over death

A teenager has been charged with murder and attempted robbery while police are hunting another two people over the shooting death of a man on private property near Gympie in Queensland.

A 19-year-old Gympie man was charged after Michael Zanco, 22, was shot in the head at a property in Amamoor last Thursday. He died on Friday.

The man is due to appear in Gympie Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Police also want to question Nathan Paul Caulfield and Trent Edward Dyhrberg.

Caulfield, 32, who is described as Caucasian and about 180cm tall, was last seen wearing a dark shirt and long tracksuit pants.

He was last seen travelling in a silver Ford Falcon utility with Queensland registration 268 ZOW.

He is believed to be armed and should not be approached, police say.

Dyhrberg, 33, is described as Caucasian, 182cm tall with a muscular build and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who may have dashcam vision from Thursday night between 5pm and 8pm on Mary Valley Road, between Amamoor and Gympie, is urged to contact police.
