Qld restaurant drug courier loses appeal

A man who helped run a cocaine network from a Brisbane restaurant has lost an appeal against his six-year sentence for trafficking.

David Chung was ordered to serve at least two years of the sentence after the Brisbane Supreme Court heard that he helped courier the drugs from the Saucy Wok Chinese restaurant between 2013 and 2015.

He appealed the sentence, arguing it gave insufficient weight to his lack of criminal history and personal circumstances, but this was on Tuesday rejected by the Court of Appeal.
