Qld premier jeered over land clearing laws

Queensland's premier has taken umbrage at being heckled by protesters at a beef industry function in Rockhampton.

The protesters took issue with the Labor government's vegetation management laws, which passed through parliament last week, by jeering and abusing Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk on Wednesday.

"I don't think swearing is appropriate; I feel quite offended by that as a woman," Ms Palaszczuk said afterwards.
