An elderly man and his horse have been found dead on a southeast Queensland property after disappearing while mustering cattle away from floodwaters.
Searchers found the 80-year-old's body on the property at Glenleigh, west of Bundaberg, on Saturday morning.

They began a land search of the property, which ran into the early hours of Saturday morning.
RACQ CareFlight Bundaberg began an air search at first light and found the man's dead horse before being dispatched to another job.
