Qld man charged over motorcyclist's death

A Queensland man has been charged with dangerous and negligent driving over a crash that killed a motorcyclist in the NSW Northern Rivers region last year.

A car collided with four motorcyclists heading in the opposite direction at Kyogle last October, killing a 55-year-old male rider.

Police said the other motorcyclists, 52, 53 and 56, were all seriously injured.

The 52-year-old car driver was arrested at his home in Warwick, south-east Queensland, on Thursday after an extensive investigation, police said.

He is due to face the Kyogle Local Court on June 10 charged with four counts of dangerous driving, two counts of negligent driving, and one of driver not keeping left of the dividing line.
