Qld cold case murder accused dead in cell

A man accused of a cold case double-murder in central Queensland has been found dead in his Rockhampton prison cell.

Russell Williams, 51, was charged in January with the murder of Robert Grayson and Derek Van Der Poel, who were last seen alive in Gladstone in May 1993.

Queensland Police said on Wednesday that Williams' death was not considered suspicious.
