Prosecutors seek $423,330 bail for ex-Zelenskyy aide Smirnov

Ukraine's High Anti-Corruption Court is holding a session to determine the preventive measure for former Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Smirnov, an NV correspondent reported from the courtroom on May 28.

The prosecution requested bail of 17.093 million hryvnias ($423,330), corresponding to Smirnov’s acquired assets, the correspondent said.

The Presidential Office's website announced on March 29 the dismissal of Andriy Smirnov and Oleksiy Dniprov, two deputies of the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak. Iryna Mudra and Olena Kovalska were appointed as their replacements.

NV's siter publtication Ukrayinska Pravda reported on May 22 that Smirnov was served with a notice of suspicion of illegal enrichment.
