The Presleys had one child together, Lisa Marie Presley, who passed away this January.
To honor her relationship with Elvis, Priscilla Presley released the memoir “Elvis and Me” in 1985. On Friday, director Coppola will release “Priscilla,” a biographical drama based on the memoir, starring Cailee Spaeny as the title character.
Here is a closer look at Presley’s style moments through the years.
For the premiere of “Priscilla,” the star took a gothic-inspired approach to red-carpet dressing in a chiffon-like top with sheer sleeves and coordinating black trousers. Adding a touch of sparkle, Presley’s black flats were adorned with a shining silver bow.
As a high-profile guest at the 2017 Kennedy Marquee, Presley wore a white midi dress with a net-like overlay. To complete her look, the actress and businesswoman added a pink fascinator hat and matching pointed-toe heels.
To channel the dark glamour of the “Phantom of the Opera,” Presley wore a black dress with a mock neckline, quarter-length sleeves and a tiered ruffle skirt to the opening night.
For a book signing centered around her 2005-released title “Elvis by the Presleys,” Presley went caul in a Western-inspired long-sleeve jacket with rips, star cutouts and ruffles. She coordinated the relaxed outfit with dark denim and round-toe boots.
In 1998, Presley put her own spin on the classic power suit, wearing a white blazer and matching pants with an animal-patterned shirt underneath. The star coordinated her sharp look with a short asymmetrical bob.
Following the birth of her Lisa Marie, the Presleys were pictured leaving the hospital, with Priscilla wearing a long-sleeve minidress with a sharp lapel collar. Her outfit aligned with the ’60s mod aesthetic, which also included sky-high hair.
