Princess Charlotte's schoolteacher marries her godfather
She’s already acted as bridesmaid for her uncle, Prince Harry, and her auntie, Pippa Middleton, when they married their other halves but Princess Charlotte has missed out on the chance to be in her teacher’s bridal party.
Lucy Lanigan-O'Keeffe, who teaches at Charlotte’s school, Thomas’s Battersea, married Prince William’s longtime friend and Princess Charlotte’s godfather, Thomas van Straubenzee, last month, with only the couple’s parents and siblings in attendance.
They had planned a much bigger day in April, however, due to coronavirus restrictions they were forced to put the plans on ice and decided instead to go for a micro wedding at Chelsea Old Church.
It’s believed Prince William was supposed to be an usher in their initial bridal party and Princess Charlotte was meant to act as a bridesmaid.
