Princess Beatrice could get Harry and Meghan's old house
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi tied the knot in a small wedding in July, and now the question remains - where will the couple live?
The front runner at the moment, according Hello Magazine, is actually one of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s old homes, now that the couple are based in the US.
Royal experts suggest Beatrice and Edo may well be offered Nottingham Cottage, on the grounds of Kensington Palace, where the Sussexes lived before relocating to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
Though nothing has officially been confirmed or announced yet, Nottingham is close to Ivy Cottage, where Princess Beatrice's sister Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank live.
And since Meghan and Harry left the property in March 2019, it's believed to have been left vacant.
In a newly-released biography about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Finding Freedom, the two-bedroom property, is described by authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand as “very cosy” and “a sweet English house”.
In July, Beatrice and Edo decided to go ahead with an intimate, socially distanced wedding ceremony in secret after their May wedding plans were put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The newlyweds were then believed to have had a mini-moon in France, and were also recently spotted on Italy's Amalfi coast with Edo's son, Wolfie.
During lockdown, Beatrice and Edo split their time between her flat in St James' Palace, and Edoardo's luxurious family home in Chipping Norton, in the Cotswolds, meaning they do have plenty of ‘home’ options available.
Harry and Meghan meanwhile have set themselves up in LA.
Since they relocated there, the former senior royals have been spotted undertaking charity work around the city.
Most recently Harry and Meghan donned face masks and gloves to help out at a children’s charity event.
The Duke and Duchess were on hand at local charity Baby2Baby’s ‘drive-thru’ event to help distribute much-needed back-to-school supplies to deserving kids and their families who are living in poverty.
