Prince Harry and Meghan Markle honour Diana's memory
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have honoured Princess Diana in the sweetest way, just one day after the 23rd anniversary of her death.
The couple, who moved to Santa Barbara recently, visited the Assistance League of LA, which aims to improve the quality of the lives of at-risk children and families.
Prince Harry, who was just 12-years-old when his mother passed away, brought along Diana’s favourite flower, Forget-Me-Nots, to plant in the garden of the preschool learning centre.
Dressed in casual clothes and masks, the Sussexes were pictured planting the flowers along with a group of adorable helpers.

According to the Assistance League’s Instagram page, Meghan and Harry also spent time with the children, teaching them about the importance of healthy eating and sharing their appreciation for nature.
People magazine reports that the couple read the classic fairytale Jack and the Beanstalk to the children, along with other books about vegetables and gardening.
Princess Diana died following a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997.
Diana, who was just 36-year-old at the time, was being driven at high speed after leaving the Ritz Hotel her with her then boyfriend Dodi Fayed, Their car crashed into a pillar in a tunnel just after midnight.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s appearance comes just a few days after Prince Harry revealed he might not fly back to the UK to visit family until October 2021.
in a Zoom call to mark the Rugby League’s 125th birthday, he said: “We've got a whole Rugby League World Cup coming next year.
“I definitely plan on coming back. I would have been back already had it not been for COVID.”
The Rugby World Cup is due to take place in England next year between 23 October and 27 November.
