The snap was uploaded to the Danish royal family’s official Instagram account on Wednesday along with an update on 51-year-old Joachim’s health.

“HRH The Crown Prince returned home from France yesterday, where he has visited his brother, H.K.H. Prince Joachim, H.K.H. Princess Marie and the couple's two children at the Château de Cayx,” the caption read.

“Prince Joachim is still recovering well, but still needs peace around him.”

Joachim was rushed to Toulouse University Hospital in France on July 25, where he was immediately operated on for a blood clot in the brain.

In a statement released at the time, the Danish royals said the prince was in a ‘stable’ condition and his wife, Princess Marie, is said to be by her husband's side.

“His Royal Highness Prince Joachim was admitted to the University Hospital of Toulouse, France, late last night,” the statement read.
