Presenter's awkward act on live TV
A TV news presenter has shown viewers “the perils of live television” after the camera operator cut to him by mistake.
Ben Brown, a presenter for the BBC in the UK, was on TV recently when the camera cut to him after a segment.
The presenter, unaware he was back on live TV, was seen yawning.
Brown quickly recomposed himself though as he realised he was on camera.
He later tweeted an apology.
“I was at the end of a long shift after a 5am start when the director cut to me by mistake,” he tweeted.
“The perils of live TV.”
Seems like tier 4 fatigue is getting to the BBC News presenters 😂 #UKlockdown @BenBrownBBC @BBCNews pic.twitter.com/nmoD0gmUQs

On Twitter, people believed the apology wasn’t necessary.
“Proves that you are not a robot,” one man tweeted.
“I love these bloopers.”
Another man thanked him for the laugh given “they are in short supply today” after the UK moved to bring in heavier lockdown rules to counter a spike in Covid-19.
