In the Saturday lunchtime kick-off, Brighton were beaten 1-0 by Crystal Palace in the so-called 'M23 derby' before Chelsea drew 2-2 at Bournemouth.
West Ham beat Southampton 3-1 to climb out of the relegation zone.
Manchester United and Tottenham both play on Sunday - away to Everton and at home to Wolves respectively - as they both continue their push for a Champions League qualification spot.
