Precious watch taken in 10 and 11-year-old boys' alleged crime spree

Two children have been charged over a number of burglaries in Western Australia.

WA Police will allege the two boys, a 10-year-old from Rockingham and an 11-year-old Cooloongup, stole money, jewellery and small electronic devices from private homes and a primary school in Rockingham on the weekend of May 5-6.

It is further alleged they stole a watch from a woman belonging to her dead husband. The watch is among a number of items police recovered, and it has since been returned.

The 11-year-old was charged with aggravated home burglary, burglary and commit, and stealing while the 10-year-old was charged with stealing, aggravated burglary and commit, aggravated home burglary and commit, and attempted aggravated home burglary with intent.

The pair will face court on June 6.
