Powerball draw 1379: Winning numbers for $100m Division One

The $100 million Powerball draw 1379 has taken place as Aussie punters are urged to check their tickets.

It's just the fourth time in history the Lott's Powerball Division One prize has jackpotted to nine figures ($100,000,000) – and millions of Aussies will be hoping to claim at least some of the life-changing money on offer.

The jackpot has reached such a salivating level after there were no Division One winners during the past four draws.

The lucky numbers you need to win are: 14, 33, 11, 25, 17, 24, 6.

The all important Powerball number is: 18.

Organisers were expecting a surge of buying ahead of the draw on Thursday evening with Lott officials claiming as many as half of all Aussie adults could buy a ticket.

"We haven’t seen a $100 million Powerball draw for more than three years and it seems Aussies are excited for the chance to score this life-changing prize,” The Lott spokesperson James Eddy said.

"On the last occasion, in September 2019, the peak of sales was at 7.22pm on the day of the draw when more than 7,800 tickets were sold in a single minute."

Participants were urged to register their entries via a player card or online account so they could be immediately contacted should they win big tonight.

"If you see your phone ringing on Thursday night, it could be us, so make sure you pick up for a chat," Mr Eddy said.

While there are certain strategies and "tricks" lotto players can employ to give themselves an edge at taking home a bigger piece of the prize money, anyone who gets a call from The Lott tonight surely won't be left wanting.
