Powerball draw 1358: Hunt for mystery winner of $4 million prize

An unsuspecting Powerball entrant is now more than $4 million richer, after winning the division one prize in last night’s draw.

The mystery millionaire won the only division one prize in Powerball draw 1358 on Thursday May 26, earning a life-changing $4,622,076.38 in prizes.

But in a twist, the winner’s ticket was not registered to a player, meaning officials from The Lott are still waiting for the lucky player to come forward.

Newsagency where winning ticket was sold revealed

Officials from The Lott have traced the winner to the Sydney area, after discovering the winning ticket was purchased at Quakers Hill Newsagency on Douglas Road.

An official from The Lott said he is looking forward to breaking the life-changing news to the mystery player.

“What an amazing way to walk into the weekend, with an extra $4 million heading your way!” the official said.

“We’re urging all Quakers Hill players to check their tickets. If you discover you’re the multimillionaire we’re searching for, call 131 868 to claim your prize.”

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1358 on Thursday May 26, 2022 were 16, 19, 21, 33, 25, 13, 10.

The all-important Powerball number was 18, which was ironically revealed as the least-drawn number in the game in a recent report.

Newsagent’s shocking reaction to winning ticket

The owner of the Quakers Hill Newsagency said he was blown away by the news that his store had sold a $4 million division one winning ticket.

“I was in bed this morning when I realised we’d sold a division one winning entry and got up so quickly to celebrate that I dropped my cup of tea,” Sumit Kumar said.

“I feel like Santa today. It’s such a gift to do something that delivers such incredible happiness to someone.”
