Popular lollies are recalled amid plastic contamination fears

Three varieties of a popular lolly have been recalled over warnings they may contain traces of plastic.

Manufacturer CTC is recalling three ranges of jersey caramels including the Lolly Co Jersey Caramels 150g, Big Lolly Jersey Caramel 160g and Fine Time Jersey Caramel 1kg with the best before date of November 2020.

The lollies are believed to contain traces of plastic which can be harmful if ingested.

The recalled products were available from IGA supermarkets and independent stores across NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD and WA.

Consumers who have purchased the lollies are urged to return them for a full refund.
