Ponies stranded in floodwater saved by NSW rescue teams

Australian rescue crews brought animals, including ponies to safety on Sunday (July 3) as incessant rain caused flooding in some parts of Sydney. Using boats they brought the animals to dry land and to their grateful owners. Source: Reuters.

CHRIS NELSON: Especially with large animals, any livestock at all, it's a different task to moving humans. Livestock tend to have their times where they want to move around, jump around. So we need to secure them a lot better to be able to transport them.
