Desperate search for one-year-old girl in rural Victoria

Police are desperately searching for a one-year-old girl missing with her mother in Victoria.

Laylah Goodman and her mother Nicole were last seen in the rural town of Alexandra, north east of Melbourne, on Monday.

Police said they have concerns for the little girl's welfare due to her age and have released photos in a hope a member of the public would have seen them.

The pair are believed to be travelling in a white Hyundai with the registration QUO207.

Anyone who sees the little girl or her mother is urged to contact Benalla Police Station on 5760 0200.
