Kelly was last seen wearing a pink pyjama top and shorts and no shoes and did not take any belongings with her when she disappeared, except her mobile phone which has not been recovered.

Police said Kelly has no family in the country and her disappearance was considered to be our of character.

“Kelly is a very loving mother to her eight-year-old son and would not leave him under any circumstances,” Detective Inspector Andrew Stamper said at a press conference Saturday.

Victoria Police said in a statement a 35-year-old Doncaster man was arrested on Sunday afternoon and was assisting police with enquiries.
