Police to investigate officers after man's fatal fall
The actions of NSW police will be investigated after a man died in a fall at a North Sydney unit.
Officers were called to the Wollstonecraft property about 11pm on Friday following reports of a domestic incident.
A 41-year-old man was subsequently arrested but released from Chatswood Police Station.
Police were called to the same unit just after 6am on Saturday amid reports a man was trying to break into the property.
After entering the unit, the officers saw the man lying injured on the driveway below.
First aid was administered and paramedics were called but the man died in hospital on Saturday night.
Police confirmed the actions of the officers involved would be investigated.
The investigation will be independently reviewed and information will be provided to the coroner.
