Police find unbelievable car seat inside modified car

NSW Police have made a bizarre find after pulling over a car on the Central Coast.

Traffic and Highway Patrol Command shared pictures of the Holden on Facebook after stopping it on the Central Coast Highway, Gosford on Friday at about 6.48am.

Police found the car had no fitted windscreen, and number of other bizarre adjustments.

“The vehicle was stopped and inspected and observed to have no windscreen fitted, no interior and no driver’s seat fitted,” police said.

It added the car had “a number of other modifications which rendered the vehicle to be unroadworthy”.

But what’s possibly the strangest feature is what the man driving the car was sitting on.

“The male driver had driven the vehicle whilst seated on a metal workshop stool,” police added.

Police said the driver was issued a number of traffic infringement notices.

One Facebook user suggested the car is a “work in progress”.
