Police find seven children in stolen car after crash

A teen driver has been arrested after she allegedly crashed a stolen car, with seven children inside, in Perth’s south.

The 18-year-old female allegedly fled police in a Honda CRV along the Kwinana Freeway at about 12.50am on Sunday.

She then allegedly collided with a parked car and a fence at a car park on Preston Street in Como.

The Honda had been reported stolen during a robbery in Rivervale on Friday.

The driver along with her passengers, six girls aged between 11 and 17 and an 11-year-old boy, were apprehended after the crash and taken to Princess Margaret, Royal Perth and Fiona Stanley Hospital for treatment.

The 11-year-old boy and a girl currently remain in Princess Margaret Hospital.

Six females aged between 12 and 18 years of age are currently assisting police with their inquiries.

No charges have been laid at this time.
