Police charge SA man who allegedly went on run with toddler
UPDATE: Police have charged a wanted man with breaching an intervention order and aggravated assault following an appeal.
SA Police issued a warrant for Benjamin Austin earlier today after he allegedly left with his daughter following the alleged assault.
Officers were initially called to a house in Port Augusta on Saturday, after a woman known to the man, Benjamin Austin, was allegedly assaulted by him before he left with his daughter.

Police released pictures of Mr Austin and his 22-month-old daughter Akira, in hopes someone will recognise them.

SA Police posted the following message on Facebook: "Good news! Police have located wanted man Benjamin Austin and his 22-month-old daughter, Akira. Both are safe and well.
"Police wish to thank the public for their assistance in this matter."
