US plane explodes at take-off with 21 passengers on board
A plane attempting to take off from Texas burst into flames while still on the runway, after it struck a fence. Fortunately, only two people were injured.
The plane was taking off from Houston Executive Airport on Tuesday morning (local time). After striking the fence the plane did not gain altitude at the end of the runway and it rolled across Morton Road before coming to a stop at a field north of the airport.
Fort Bend County Fire Marshal's Office said the 21 people on board, which included three crew members evacuated the aircraft before it was fully engulfed in flames.
Locals media reports there were 21 people on board the plane, the youngest passenger being just 10 years old. Two people were taken to hospital.

"This is a good day," a relieved Sergeant Stephen Woodard told the media.
"This is actually a day of celebration for a lot of people."
Fire authorities were able to extinguish the fire.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the cause of the crash.
