Pipe bombs found at SA Riverland property

Pipe bombs, a gun and drugs have been found at a South Australian property leading to the arrest of a man on a string of charges.

The 29-year-old was refused police bail and will appear in the Berri Magistrates Court on August 6 charged with possessing explosives and an unlicensed gun, and with drug trafficking.

Items found at his Loxton home included five pipe bombs, 24 cannabis plants, chemicals for the manufacture of explosives, homemade fireworks and 30 grams of methamphetamine, police allege.
