A four-year-old boy has become the second child to die following a crash in Melbourne’s west on the weekend as a family returned home from a birthday party.
Immanual George has died in hospital a day after the crash that claimed the life of his 10-year-old sister Ruana.
Their mother remains in a critical condition, while their father was also injured but has been released from hospital.

Ruana died at the scene after the Ford Territory, a Honda SUV and a Ford Focus collided about midnight on Sunday.
A man and woman with two children were travelling in the Ford Focus, with police saying the boy died on Monday evening.
The Ford Territory’s 41-year-old male driver from Rockbank, and sole occupant, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while the five occupants in the Honda SUV were not injured.
The driver of the Ford Territory has been charged.
