Photos of Renae Lawrence's journey home

Freed Bali Nine heroin smuggler Renae Lawrence has finally made it home after boarding a flight bound for Newcastle with her mother and supporters.

Lawrence, who was freed on Wednesday from a Bali prison after serving 13 years for acting as a drug mule, faced chaotic scenes when she flew into Brisbane airport early on Thursday.

With her head down, trying to avoid the glare of the cameras and lights, Lawrence left the arrivals hall and made her way with her family quickly toward a transfer bus for the domestic terminal to catch the final flight in the long journey home.
