Last photo of woman who mysteriously vanished during night out
A man is being sought after a woman went missing on a night out more than three weeks ago.
The Dallas Police Department is still trying to find Marisela Botello, 23, who went missing between the late hours of October 4 and morning of October 5 in Deep Ellum – a popular entertainment hub in downtown Dallas in the US state of Texas.
Since her mysterious disappearance, a photo has emerged of the outfit she was last seen wearing while visiting Dallas from Seattle to see an ex-boyfriend.
In the photo she is wearing a purple dress while snapping a picture with her mobile phone while standing in front of a mirror.
Marisela's aunt, Dennesly Castillo, told Dateline the family is “really worried”.
“She's 23 and hasn't used her phone for social media or texts or anything in three weeks? It makes no sense,” she said.
“I was also able to get into her Snapchat account and see her camera roll.
“There’s a picture of her in a purple dress from that night, the same dress in the surveillance video.”
Police are trying to track down Charles Beltran in relation to Ms Botello’s disappearance, who authorities say is a person of interest.
Mr Beltran was seen in a black 2014 Audi A6 in the early hours of October 5, however police haven’t been able to find him or the car since.
It’s not clear if the pair are known to each other.
Ms Castillo told news station WFAA that CCTV at 1.15am on October 5 shows her leaving a bar with a man, but police are yet to verify the footage is of her.
